Rising an impressive 22 places from the first quarter, Versace has once more emerged as solid top 10 contender. The brand, which was officially purchased by Michael Kors for $2.1 billion this year, seems to have several things to thank for the recent popularity spike. Not only was their Kith collaboration incredibly popular, but Versace also scored a huge number of celebrity endorsements at this year’s Met Gala. Lyst also points to the success of the crime show “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” as a possible sales generator.
