Hotel Monteleone

New Orleans is legendary for its hospitality and the fourth-generation Hotel Monteleone is a pacesetter in that department. Firmly established in the French Quarter at the head of Royal Street, the Monteleone was built in 1886 in the Beaux Art style. Faulkner, Tennessee Williams, and Papa Hemingway haunted the spot. The lobby is the place to see and be seen, but the rooftop pool and revolving Carousel Piano Bar make this an unequaled NOLA treasure.

House Of Blues

Not expensive, just very high quality, this French Quarter original has drawn about every blues legends of the modern era to its historic (but unassuming) stage. There’s even a dedicated spot for Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown adoration. Catch a concert, enjoy some Delta-inspired eats and drink in the atmosphere. When you leave, you’ll carry a big ole dose of the Blues with you.
