British Airways
British Airways, which is the largest airline in the U.K., give passengers some comfort with meditation. The airline include several guides and videos on their Mindfulness for Travel channel to give tips. These visuals were done in collaboration with the Mindfulness Institute. “The video series I created in partnership with British Airways will help travelers develop the clarity, calm and focus necessary to get the most out of their travel experiences,” Mindfulness Institute founder Mark Coleman said. Discovered in 2002, the Mindfulness Institute has trained employees from Google, Facebook, and Ford about the concept of mindfulness.
American Airlines
On long flights, we tend to fall asleep at our seats. It isn’t the most comfortable feeling in the world, though. You’ll tend to wake up feeling groggy and sore. American Airlines took note of this and decided to team up with Casper. Founded in 2014, Casper has quickly become a massive bedding company with millions funded in their mission. With Casper’s help, they managed to get several cabins upgraded with new pillows, blankets, and mattress pads for a better rest. “Our mission has always been to create products that help people dream their way to a better life. In collaboration with American, we are now able to apply our expertise in sleep science to redefine comfort and sleep in flight,” stated Casper co-founder Philip Krim.
