Ridge Vineyards

Osea Perrone began Ridge Vineyards in 1885 after purchasing 180 acres near the top of Monte Bello Ridge. After years of construction, the winery, first named the Monte Bello Winery, produced its first vintage in 1892. Over the years, the winery has passed through several owners, but the fine quality of wines remained the same.

Ridge is known internationally for its wine, mainly making red wines. Cabernet and Zinfandel make up most of the production line. The vineyard is also farmed organically to provide top-notch wines for customers.

V. Sattui Winery

This family-owned winery in Napa Valley was started in 1885 by Vittorio Sattui after he immigrated to America from Genoa, Italy. Sadly, the winery was shut down during the Prohibition period but rose to fame again in 1976 through Vittorio’s great-grandson, Dario.

With the acquisition of several properties, V. Sattui has been able to farm excellent vineyards to produce its wine. The winery has won many awards over the years, including Winery of the Year” by the Critics Challenge Wine Competition. In addition to its wonderful tastings, V. Sattui hosts picnics, weddings, and other group events if reserved far ahead in advance.
