Wittelsbach-Graff Diamond
The Wittelsbach-Graff Diamond was first found in an Indian mine in the 1600s. It was rumored to have first been owned by King Philip IV of Spain. The 35.56-carat diamond was included in the dowry of his daughter Margarita Teresa in her engagement to Emperor Leopold I of Austria in 1664. Afterward, the gem was a part of the Austrian and Bavarian crown jewels.

In 2008, jeweler Laurence Graff purchased the diamond for $22 million, and it was renamed to the Wittelsbach-Graff Diamond. A few years later, it was sold to a member of the Qatari royal family for over $80 million.
