If you want Margo’s signature item, you’ll have to plan your trip to Italy at just the right time. The white truffle and gold pizza is served only when white truffles are in season, usually between October and May. You’ll fork over $2,420 for a pizza topped with white truffles, organic water buffalo mozzarella, and a 24-carat gold leaf. Don’t forget to give the staff at least a week to fly in the white truffles on the day of your arrival, and expect the price to fluctuate depending on the truffle market during your visit.
